4.1 Where We Store Data
Your data is stored on servers operated by our service providers. Currently, data may be stored in data centres in the United States or European Union. We are evaluating Canadian data residency options.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

6. Data About Minors
If you use HumblSuite to manage information about minors (individuals under 18):
- You (the customer) are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental/guardian consent
- We implement additional safeguards for data identified as belonging to minors
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent
- Parents/guardians may contact you (the customer) to access, correct, or delete their child's information
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation:
- You will have the opportunity to export your data before deletion
- Your data will be deleted from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe after cancellation
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period before permanent deletion
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics indefinitely
- Some data may be retained longer if required by law (e.g., tax records)
You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us. We will process such requests within 30 days.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies to:
- Essential: Maintain your session and authentication
- Functional: Remember your preferences
- Analytics: Understand how the service is used (anonymized)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality.
9. Marketing Communications
In compliance with CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation):
- We only send marketing emails with your express consent
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link
- We honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
- Service-related emails (billing, security, outages) are exempt and will always be sent
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Canada. When this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual protections with our service providers.
11. Changes to This Policy
